About Us

    a new type of agency

    Throwing out the book was the starting point. We had a vision for an agency obsessed with results and outcomes rather than billable hours. An agency that understood the needs of entrepreneurially minded clients with big dreams.

    It all began in 2012 when a group of passionate entrepreneurs came together with a common vision to create an agency focused on moving the needle for its clients.

    In the early days of BrainWorks – it was all about offering high-end consulting services with clients who had communications needs.

    How social are you?

    In 2014 we were Socialites. From pioneering new platforms online to mixing it up in the office, we were all about social. We truly became a growth agency as we managed the social pages of over a dozen clients. Graphics, content, ads, response management…If you talked to a local businesses’s Facebook page that year, odds are you were chatting with us.

    Help to raise $1.85 Million dollars for a YWCA Capitol Campaign? Check.

    Chamber of Commerce for Greater Moncton Marketing Award winner? Check.

    We really spread our wings in 2015 and checked a lot of firsts off our list.

  5. It's all about community

    Greater Moncton Gives Back

    We believe in going all-in on supporting causes in our community. In 2016 we spearheaded Greater Moncton Gives Back, a no-cost fundraiser with every single dollar raised going to benefit a local organization in need. We surpassed our ambitious $100,000 fundraising goals our first two years, raising $175,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Moncton in 2016, and $185,000 for Moncton Headstart in 2017. This year in 2018 we’re attempting to raise $250,000 for Atlantic Wellness.

  6. Make no small plans

    Acquired Razor Creative

    In 2017 BrainWorks acquired Razor Creative. The acquisition was the largest investment and boldest move we had ever made. A new world (and new space) came to life and things were never the same.

  7. Embracing the opportunity

    All-in on Video

    We don’t believe in standing still. We’ve recently made a significant push towards growing the video team and offerings inside BrainWorks. Stay tuned for exciting announcements about new team members and world-class video equipment that will soon be a part of our offering.

Our Space

Old Meets New – Modern Office in a Downtown Historic Building.

Our space is bright, open, and functional. Named one of the coolest workspaces in Atlantic Canada in 2018 (ABM) we’re proud of our environment. The main section of the space is highly modular and is often adapted to host speakers, events, and the occasional themed party.

Office Highlights:

  • Over 3800 square feet of downtown office space
  • Free parking for clients and guests
  • In house “Grind Time” cafe
  • A rotation of 3 local beers is always on tap
  • Home to a 1963 Triumph twin-turbo motorcycle
  • Brain Bot, which allows travelling team members to ‘beam’ into the office
